We survived!!! Getting to the airport, and waiting in the ticket line, then waiting for the plane went without a hitch! It went by so well!!! There were two phrases that I wish I got a dollar for every time I heard ('cause I would have a lot of money), and that was, "You're brave," and "You must be crazy!" I would always reply, "a little bit of both."
Our plane broke down, so we had to wait in the terminal for an extra half an our. When we got on the plane, due to the snow, and other delayed flights, we waited for over an hour on the plane. I would not recommend Delta. Not very good costumer service at all!!!! No one saw a flight attendant at all during our delay! I gave my girls some candy so that their ears wouldn't hurt during the take off. Well, we didn't take off for 40 more minutes! So the girls were screaming for water. They were so thirsty. Poor things! There was a nice Savannah GA gal that sat near, that begged to hold Mady. After holding her for almost four hours, I happily turned her over! After take off, she handed her back. Asleep. shortly after we were up in the air Mady was awake. The girls were ready to get off at that time too! Then "aaawwwh" they FINALLY came by with the DRINKS!!! Mikayla sucked her drink down before the lady was finished pouring mine and Maky's. I had to get her a refill. I thought the seat mounted tv's were a cool upgrade, but I have grown to HATE them!!! Makynna wouldn't keep her hand off of the touch screen buttons, and Mikayla kept hitting hers, sending the guy's head forward, every time she smacked the screen.
None of the girls slept the entire flight, until 30min before landing! Mikayla was the first to go out, and then Makynna's eyes shut during landing. I waited for everyone to get off the plane before I attempted to get all of us off. Mikayla did not want to wake up! I was struggling to carry both her and the baby, until I was about half way off of the plane when a flight attendant finally asked if I wanted some help! NAH, YA THINK?!!!
I Have never been more happy to see my mother in-law as I was when I walked off of that plane!!! The airport was practically empty, closing for x-mas. So getting to baggage claim and everything was a breeze! Jeff had already grabbed my bags before we got there. Everyone's prayers definitely were answered. Although there were some rough times, all in all, it went great!
We met so many nice and helpful people at the airport, and on the plane. The Christmas spirit was in full swing. While I was going through security, there was this sweet man who helped me get my things on the belt, then helped me get the kids' shoes on and off (I was smart enough to put us all in crocs). Then while waiting for our flight, there was a mom traveling with her 2yr old daughter that shared toys, food, and drinks with my girls. So nice! I also met a mom, and dad that were also helpful! On the plane that GA gal was so sweet to hold Mady during take off, and before landing so I could gather our things. There was a soldier on the plane that sat near us, that entertained Makynna! He also had three children, that he hadn't seen for a year, and had nine more months to go! I thanked him for the sacrifice. He was such a great man! So humble.
Our Christmas was so enjoyable! The girls woke up with a load of toys from Santa! They had such a blast ripping open the presents. I think they liked that more than the contents! Afterward we went to the most delicious southern dinner at his brother Jim, and sister in-law Jodie's. Pat and I stayed there late with the girls. I had such a great time visiting with them. I really love them a lot. The reminiscing was fun! Although I missed my family, doing something new and entirely different was fun for a change! I hope everyone else had a Merry Christmas too!!!

Snow Days......and the Count-Down!

It has been snowing like crazy here! I like it, but I don't. I am a summer girl! But my girls sure had a blast making snow angels! All three of the kiddos are sick right now with colds. Mikayla is on her 4th ear infection this year. When we get back from vacation, she is scheduled to meet with an ENT to make an apt. to get tubes put in her ear. Anyhow, I let them play outside for about 1o minutes. They started hacking, and Mikayla started complaining that her hands hurt, so I knew it was time to come in! They had fun though! They were so silly. They wanted to make snow angels, but neither one wanted to lay their heads in the snow. So funny!

Only 3 More Days Before We're Georgia Bound!!!
Okay, it will totally suck if we get snowed in, and can't fly out to GA! I miss my husband! I am ready to see him!! After his long exhausting drive from AZ to GA (27hrs to be exact), Jeffs dad wanted to go visit a relative in NC. Poor Jeff had to go with him (7hr drive). I talked to him that night, and he was sick. Probably from all of the driving. They only had one day to recover from the 1st trip. He's having a good time. His brother BJ is a truck driver, and stopped in GA to have dinner with Jeff, and their mom and dad, and I think Jeffs oldest brother Jim ever stopped in for dinner. I can not wait to get there, and see our family! I miss all of my nieces and nephews! We are going to have a blast!

What's new in da 'Hood!!!
jjjjjjjjjjjjj
Well, Jeff got on a plane early this morning, and took off for Phoenix. Our plan was to have him fly to Phoenix on Friday to meet up with his dad, and then the two of them were going to drive the rest of the way to GA. Jeff's flying on a buddy-pass (standby), and all of the flights on Fri. weren't looking good. So, he thought he should get on the first flight out today. Stinks though, 'cause he didn't get home from work until after 9pm. He came home, packed up, and went to bed. Oh well, we'll all be reunited before we know it. I am getting nervous and excited! I wish I could just snap my fingers and be there, instead of going on a 5hr airplane ride. I am not looking forward to that at all!!! Everyone, PLEASE keep me in your prayers on December 24th!
The other day my mom, Angie, and I were baking Christmas cookies. My mom made most of them, but I had a lot of fun decorating the gingerbread men. The girls and I are going to hand them out to our neighbors, the police station (right next door to our house), our favorite UPS driver, and the mailman tomorrow afternoon.
This winter blizzard is something else! I can't believe how windy it has been these past few days. As some of you may know, we live (literally) right next door to a park. We share a fence line with the tennis ball court. Anyhow....We noticed that the water from the roof was running off of the side of the house, and not out of the gutter. Well, the other day, Jeff went out there to take a look at it, and a tennis ball was lodged in the gutter! I thought it was pretty funny. I know, it's sad the things that amuse me.
So, I have a funny little story, that actually shouldn't be funny, because it involves my 2yr old using a bad word.....but I can't help but tell the story. And, yes! I did reprimand her. Although, I didn't really need to, because she realized she had made an oopsie!
Part of our house is hardwood floors. They get pretty slippery with footed jammies! So, we have come to find out. Anyway. I had just put cereal on the table for the girls. Makynna was sitting nicely eating, and Mikayla, "Hode on mommy. I pinish my show." I told her to go ahead, and "pinish." I sat down on the couch to nurse Mady. Well, after a comercial came on, Mikayla got up, and darted into the kitchen, were she slipped, and slid across the kitchen floor! She got up and said, "Oh sit! I swipped!" Makynna, "Oh, Lala! Yer not upose to say that badword!" "I know Nynna! I not say sit! I say, Ooooh shooooooot!" Says Mikayla! I tried not to bust out laughing, after Makynna says to her, "don't worry, I won't tell on you. I know you said the badword though!"

YYYY
Well, the wootoff is finally over! No more all nighters! Now I can FINALLY get some house work done. And I think we only purchased a couple of lame things. Hahaha.
YYY
Angie and I took the kids to see Santa today, at the Supermall. Preston and Jolee were first. They did great. Joey was a little upset, but for only a second! Preston and Santa quickly became buddies! Hahaha. Makynna and Mady were wonderful, and Mikayla, I had to hold her against Santa's sleigh while she was kicking and screaming. Maybe next year!
The Santa visit went without a hitch. It was afterward that I wanted to pull my hair out! Angie and I, and the kids were starving, so we went to the food court to get some corndogs. Well, Preston was the first to take off, back to Santa, and then his cousins had to follow. Poor Angie was on that chase. The second time, they all spotted the carasel, and it was my turn to run after them. I grabbed Preston and Makynna by their arms, and Mikayla I carried. In the distance it took from bet to point A to point B, I had about three people say to me, "Wow, you sure have your hands full!" Needless to say, they all had time-outs. After we ate, Angie had some things to return in a nearby store. All three of the kids hid under a clothing rack, no real biggie, except that Preston lost one of his shoes....Still nowhere to be found! Things started getting a little crazy, so I volunteered (like an IDIOT) to take the older kids, and my baby, Mady out to sit on one of the benches while waiting for Angie to finish her transaction. Makynna and Preston took off, and ran into a store. I wanted to kill them! Aaaahhhh! I don't think we will EVER go to the mall again, well, at least not without STROLLERS!!!!
I got an early Christmas present this evening. I have been begging Jeff for a GPS system for my car. It was one of his Woot purchases. I was TOTALLY surprised!!! It even has a bluetooth system for my phone. Now I won't get pulled over for talking on my phone, yeah!

Santa pictures will be posted SOON!!!

What Tha WOOT!
Okay! Several months ago, my grandpa told my brother about this cool website, woot, and my brother told my husband, and now, we're addicted!!!
For those of you who aren't familiar.......
About Woot;
Woot sells one product a day, at a really great discounted price. But just ONE item! They don't repost a new product until 10pm. So, every night one of us, Jeff, Dave, or I will get on the computer and go to woot. Once every so often woot does something called a "wootoff." What a woot off is, as soon as one thing sells out they list another, so on, and so on. They can last anywhere from a couple of hours to 74hrs. Last night when we checked....we saw the yellow lights flashing, which indicated a WOOTOFF!!! In most wootoffs there is a grab back. They sell those super cheap, but you don't know what you're getting. We've been at the computer for over twenty four hours HOPING for the grab bag!!! LOL. It's really actually (probably sadly) been a lot of fun. Right now it's a Worx WT960K 18 volt 5 Piece Cordless Tool Kit, for $139.99, with only 84% left!!! With all of the wootoff stuff, I don't think we've bought ANYTHING!!! Tried to get a computer, but while talking to my dad on the phone asking him if it was worth the price, it sold out! Sucks! We almost splurged on a blueray HD camcorder, but Jeff changed his mind last second! Those went for $500, which are regularly $1100. Couldawoodashoulda! But DIDN'T! It's amazing how fast some of the things sold out! There was a camcorder for kids. I was going to click it, as an x-mas present for the girls, but I was distracted by Jeffs truck pulling in the driveway. I simply got up, and walked to the window, and then came back to the computer. When I got back it had already sold! I think it sold out in less than 30 seconds!!! Enough Woot Talk!!!
Sick Baby :(
Poor Makynna has a bit of the stomach flu. She came out of the bathroom all upset. "Mommy, I tried, but I didn't make it to the toilet. I missed!" Yeah, let me tell ya! After you have kids, nothing will EVER gross you out, ever again! Seriously! After cleaning that up, I was still able to go back to finishing my dinner. Hahaha!
Time for me to hit the sack! And this time, I am not quite tired enough to miss spell EXHAUSTED! hahaha.

Family Portraits
So, my mom has been dying for a family photo. Which she should have waited one more year, 'cause there's gonna be one more grandchild left out. Yes, I am nuts! I am planning on one more. CRAZY ME! Anyhow.......
She had a photographer from Yuen Lui come to her house. That was quite insane! Gathering all the kids up, and trying to get them to all smile at the same time, and hold still for a picture was nearly impossible! But, I think darling Amanda managed to capture a few really good shots! Poor Dave. I know how he gets when he does a lot of activities. He gets all hot and sweaty (which embarrassingly enough, I do too). Anyway, he thought that the photographer was really cute, and I think my mom knew, and wanted him to interact with her, so she's all, "Dave, help Amanda with the back drop, help her with this, help her with that." The poor guy was drenched before it was even time to snap the pictures!
Well, Jeff is on his second day of selling Christmas trees. In case some of you didn't know. In the winter when work is somewhat slow, Jeff (being the workaholic that he is) sells Christmas trees for a friend of his. He makes extra money, so I can't complain. It just sucks though, because on the weekends he's gone from 9am to 9 or 10pm. Oh well, that's his life. All work, no play.
I am exauhsted, so off to bed I go.............

Oh, What A Day!
I have been taking care of my niece and nephew for my sister so she can work. Let me just tell you what chaos it is when you get a three year old, two two year olds, and two babies together all at one time!
I NEVER even attempt to log onto the computer when I am taking care of them, but I really wanted to respond to an email I had got this morning, so I hauled all of the kids upstairs, Joey practically falling out of my arms the entire way up the stairs. I put the babies on the floor with lots of toys, and I sat the older kids in front of the TV with a kid show on.
I am not in there for more than a minute when Mikayla comes running in yelling, "Preston got poop on him hands!" My precious little nephew had taken a poopy diaper off, and smeared it all over the place. As I am focused on that, I don't even realize that my 7 month old niece is scarfing down a chocolate donut! And sharing the crumbs with her 5 month old cousin. Ahhhhh! How the babies got the bag of donuts is still a mystery, but I have my suspicions.
My girls and I are all at home now. I can barely swallow. I have a terrible sore throat. I had one that lasted only a couple of days, then the night before last it was gone, so I thought I was getting better, but yesterday it came back, and is even worse today! I guess it is just that time of year. Better go get my flu shot!
I had better go. As I am typing this, I can hear Mikayla playing in the water in the bathroom right behind me. Oooooh! What a surprise! She just brought me a cup that she so proudly filled up in the bathroom sink. Or at least I hope the water came from the sink.
But before I go....I have to share a funny story that happened late last night. The boys just got a new weight set (thanks Levi) in their Man Cave. I could here them working out. I heard Dave say to Jeff, "K, let go," Jeff, "Ya sure?" Dave, "yeah, k, let go, let go, k!" Jeff, "K!" Dave, "K Help! K HELP!!!!!" I don't know if you had to be there for it to sound funny. But I sure got a kick out of it!

Meet Madelyn
Meet Mikayla
Meet Makynna!
This is Makynna Grace. She is my little Ham. She's almost 4, and has got the most hilarious personality! She's very prissy. Kind of....Well, no kind of would be an understatement, bluntly, she's a DRAMA QUEEN! She's so goofy though, and is learning all of these new facial expressions that just crack me up. She learned how to cross her eyes the other day. So funny!
Just Getting Started.....
So, this is our very first blog, EVER! We're a little behind the times. Mom of three here. Whoever said parenthood would be easy? Liars! It's the hardest job I have ever done. A big blessing though. My kids saved my life.
My brother is living with us. I am listening to him entertain my children right now. He is hilarious. He's trying to get the kids out of the living room, by singing, "Iiiiiiiif you're happy and you know it, go tickle mommy, iiiiiiiif you're happy and you know it, go run up the stairs, iiiiiiif you're happy and you know it, be really quiet." And NOW he using them as his own personal slaves (and they don't even know it yet). "Iiiiiiiif you're happy and you know put Bubas plate on the table." And now for the finale, "Iiiiiiiif you're happy and you know it, go upstairs and play in your bedroom!"
Hey! I am gonna start using that!!!!!!!!!!!
